Encaustic wax is an age old medium used for thousand of years. It is a mixture of wax and Damar varnish which is heated to 200 degrees and painted onto a rigid surface. It comes clear and in many colors.

Oil and Cold Wax - a mixture of approximately 50/50 oil paint and cold wax. It is put on substrates that support oil paints using pallet knives and scrapers.
